washi: I am a retired American teacher who has lived in Japan since 2002. For 10 years, from 2006 to 2016, I wrote numerous KML files for Google Earth, many of which are collected in the attached file of Links. It has 4 pages. The first page is mostly complex files about Japanese history and related historical sites. The second page lists less complex files about Japanese history and files about Japanese culture. The third page lists files about other topics. The fourth page contains materials from posts I made to the now defunct (old) Google Earth Community about favorite techniques for making KML files. * To use these files, you must first have Google Earth Pro installed on your PC, Mac, or Linux computer. The download link provided should download GEP in your own language. Contact me if you should need help changing the language interface. * As explained in the video in the file, DROPBOX FILES MUST BE DOWNLOADED THROUGH AN EXTERNAL BROWSER, NOT THE ONE BUILT INTO GEP. The video shows how to change browser preference, if needed.
